Green Agriculture Technology Limited

EcoPreneur Initiative

Empowering Green Entrepreneurs. Building Sustainable Businesses.

The EcoPreneur Initiative is Green Agric Technology Limited’s programme for identifying, developing, connecting, and elevating urban green entrepreneurs. We work with entrepreneurs whose businesses contribute to sustainable agriculture, environmental protection, recycling, green products, and climate-resilient livelihoods. Through business development, market access, visibility, and financial pathways, we help promising green businesses move from informal enterprise to sustainable growth.

Our Goal

To build a stronger ecosystem of green entrepreneurs who can create jobs, increase household incomes, provide sustainable products and services, and contribute to Nigeria’s emerging green economy.

How the Programme Works

Our approach is built around three key pathways:

Pathway 01

01. Identification & Visibility

We identify promising green entrepreneurs through field outreach, market walks, and referrals. Selected businesses are verified in the GAT EcoPreneur database and featured through photo stories and media to build credibility.

Pathway 02

02. Market Access & Economic Empowerment

Being identified is only the start. We help EcoPreneurs strengthen their operations and reach more customers through structured practical business training, quarterly Green Fairs, and dedicated commercial buyer linkages.

Pathway 03

03. Financial Access

The final pathway helps green businesses become bankable. We connect verified and trained entrepreneurs with microfinance, banks, cooperatives, and impact investors for formal credit and growth capital.

From Entrepreneur to Bankable Business

Our ecosystem helps entrepreneurs build the evidence and capacity required for growth.

Step 01

Verified Database

Field identification, due diligence screening, and enrollment in the GAT roster.

Step 02

Step 03

Step 04

Financial Readiness

Step 05

Access to Capital

Working capital, asset finance, and tailored green enterprise facilities.

Step 06

Business Growth

Scale, green job creation, higher revenue, and follow-on financing qualification.

Repayment and responsible financial management can further help entrepreneurs build trust and qualify for larger follow-on facilities.
